Immunogenetics Laboratory

Transplantation from a Deceased Donor (Initial Evaluation of the Recipient - Kidney, Kidney and Pancreas, or Pancreas Transplants, and Pediatric Heart and Liver Transplants)

Transaction Code: 3101-00, 3084-00, 3084-01, 3083-01, 3083-06 (3083-08 may be added if 3083-06 is positive)

The patient should be scheduled for initial testing which includes HLA and ABO typing, and tests for antibodies to HLA.

Specimens Required: 50 ml ACD blood, 14-20 ml clotted blood
Analytic Time: 5 to 10 days
Days Test is Set Up: Monday through Friday
