This profile can be ordered for a patient who has received an allogeneic bone marrow transplant. Testing includes ABO and D typing and direct and indirect antiglobulin tests. If the transplant involved a major ABO mismatch, the percent A or B cells present in the sample and titer of anti-A or anti-B in plasma will be determined.
- Sample Required: 7 mL EDTA
- Normal Test Values: Dependent on donor and recipient ABO types and time from transplant.
- Analytic Time: 24 hours if weekday, 72 hours if weekend
- Days Test is Set Up: Monday through Sunday
