This test can be ordered for a patient who is suspected of having T activation or RBC polyagglutination, either acquired or inherited. Not routinely ordered as an individual test but used to help resolve complex serologic investigations.
- Sample Required: 3 mL EDTA or 1 EDTA microtainer
- Normal Test Values: Dependent on donor and recipient ABO types and time from transplant.
- Analytic Time: 24 hours if weekday, 48 hours if weekend
- Days Test is Set Up: Monday through Sunday
