Blood is a complex substance and there is a great deal to learn about it. A few years ago, Puget Sound Blood Center and America’s Blood Centers created a video program and teacher’s guide that makes it both fun and easy to learn more about blood, blood biology, the human circulatory system and the important role blood plays in sustaining life.
Now, a new version of My Blood Your Blood is available to Western Washington middle and high school teachers to accompany their existing biology course work. The video also complements the elementary school version used for years in local schools. My Blood’s middle and high school version builds on the amazing lessons taught in the elementary version – blood biology, the human circulatory system and why blood is vital. There’s even something in this informative program about careers in the blood banking community!

Puget Sound Blood Center, your community non-profit blood center, is offering this award-winning program free of charge. Western Washington middle and high school teachers interested in getting a free video should contact the Blood Center. Teachers elsewhere should contact America’s Blood Centers.
