Puget Sound Blood Center researchers and staff thank all who attended the Blood Center’s first Spring for Life dinner and dance, held at the Grand Hyatt Seattle on Saturday, March 17, 2007.
The event was enormously successful and those attending enjoyed a lovely evening. All proceeds from the event, which raised nearly $200,000, will benefit the life-saving work and research of the Blood Center.
The elegant early evening reception, emceed by Patti Payne, set the tone for the night. The 200 attendees were able to bid on a variety of silent auction items before enjoying a sumptuous dinner, engaging conversation and dancing to the big band sounds of Theresa Carnovale and City Life.
Spring for Life benefits research conducted at Puget Sound Blood Center. And blood research saves lives. Blood is a critical denominator in many diseases and afflictions and their treatments including cardiovascular disease, stroke, cancers, burns, trauma, autoimmune disease, and transplantation to name only a few. Unlocking the mysteries of blood helps us to build better therapies and cure disease.
