2nd Annual Hope Uncorked!, A Truly Tasteful Event

Puget Sound Blood Center’s second annual wine tasting, Hope Uncorked!, was a big success. Thanks to the guests, the volunteers, and the generous wineries who donated their wine and their time, the event exceeded expectations and raised more than $18,000 for the Blood Center’s new Center for Blood Clotting Research. The Blood Center would especially like to thank Kathleen Summers, the event chair, who dedicated so much of her own time and resources to ensure this event’s success, and sponsors AT&T, Delivery Express & Saint- Gobain Containers.

Nearly 100 guests attended the wine tasting and silent auction at Bear Creek Country Club. Presenting wineries included Brian Carter Cellars, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Harlequin Wines, Hollywood Hill Vineyards, Latitude 46°N, Nardone Cellars, NW Totem Cellars. Guests sipped and mingled while bidding fiercely over a small silent auction.
