FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JUNE 30, 2006, SEATTLE WA — Puget Sound Blood Center’s interactive campaign received honors at the 27th Annual Telly Awards announced earlier this month. The Telly Awards is a highly respected competition and have become the premier honor for local, regional and cable television, advertising agencies and film and video production companies worldwide.
The Blood Center’s interactive, Web-based email recruitment campaign was awarded a bronze Telly in the “Internet/Online Segments – Recruitment” category. Produced by marketing communication firm Palazzo Intercreative, this series of videos portrays Blood Center patients, thanking the community for their life-saving donations. Palazzo also created an interactive, Web-based menu that visitors to the Blood Center’s site can navigate in order to view these videos.
The Blood Center adds this year’s Telly Award to a number of awards won for productions created to encourage donors, volunteers and others to become involved in Blood Center programs.
