FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
All donor centers normally open today are open normal hours
NOVEMBER 27, 2006, SEATTLE WA — Puget Sound Blood Center donor centers normally open today, Monday, November 27, 2006, are open and operating as regularly scheduled. Despite the adverse weather our area is experiencing, all donor centers will be open their regular hours for the remainder of the week. We encourage anyone planning on making a blood donation at one of our donor centers to do so. Patients in our community rely on donated blood every day of every season of the year.
Although most blood drives are taking place today as scheduled, some have been impacted by the cold and snow. Anyone planning to donate at a blood drive in an area experiencing adverse weather can check the status of the blood drive by visiting the Blood Center’s Web site at www.psbc.org. Donor center hours can also be found at the site.
Any coverage is greatly appreciated.
Drop-ins are welcome or you can schedule an appointment to donate by calling 1-800-398-7888.
