MAY 03, 2007, SEATTLE — Puget Sound Blood Center’s advertisement campaign, created by advertising agency, Palazzo Intercreative, won three gold medals, one silver medal, one bronze medal and one merit award in the 24th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report.
A record number of 4,300 entries were received in this year’s competition, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition in the U.S. The awards recognition was made by a national panel of judges based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.
Palazzo was honored with gold awards for single newspaper ads for Puget Sound Blood Center – Research Leads To Cures and also received gold recognition for the Blood Center’s outdoor billboard titled Imagine Saving A Life. Other awards were a silver medal for a :30 second TV spot for Puget Sound Blood Center – Will You Help and a special merit award for multi-media creative materials promoting the Faces For Life, the Blood Center’s signature fundraising event.
Other awards received for Palazzo’s healthcare clients included a gold medal for Valley Medical Center print ads and a bronze for website design for Valley’s Washington Neuroscience Institute. Valley Medical Center is one of Puget Sound Blood Center’s customers.
